African Life Solution Organization (ALSO) is Community based Non-governmental development organization that was voluntarily formed. It operates on a not-for-profit basis with principles and philosophy aimed at effectively reaching its vision, mission and core values.
African Life Solution Organization (ALSO) was formed in 2006 by a group of the intellectual who met to discuss the situation of the community and established African Life Solution Organization (ALSO) so that it helps the needy in the communities in South Central Somalia saw the need to improve local capacity civil societies with regard to responding to the many challenges facing the war torn Somali nation.
During the establishments of African Life Solution Organization (ALSO) there were security concerns for international organization to work freely therefore to ensure transfer of skills and knowledge from international agencies to national actors, African Life Solution Organization (ALSO) was born from that idea.
The overall objective of African Life Solution Organization is to assist the people of South western zone of Somalia in their efforts to improve their lives through selected interventions in areas of Nutrition, health, water, sanitation & hygiene, livelihood, food and NFI distributions and protection.
To contribute to the realization of stable, self-sufficient and developments in Somalia, within the context of a Somalia transitioning from state- failure to recovery, rehabilitation and reconstruction.

The overall objective of the Nutrition program is to reduce malnutrition related morbidity and mortality among the under-five children living In South central Somalia.
Objectives of the Food Security program are to increase food production and improve accessibility, promote livestock health, production and marketing of products, improve household incomes to vulnerable groups.
Objectives of the health and environment program are to improve access to safe drinking water and appropriate sanitation & hygiene facilities, promote sustainability and optimal use of natural resources through conservation and proper utilization.
The focus of the education program is on the provision of teaching and learning resources with particular emphasis on girl child education.
